The Citi Platinum Select Card for college students is a great student credit card if you're looking for a card that offers benefits and discounts. For the first six months, you will be able to charge everything to your card with a nice 0% APR financing 1. This 0% can come in handy if you're not prepared to pay off your whole bill within the billing month. As you already know, if you don't pay off your bill within the billing period, you will get slapped with those awful financing charges. A disciplined credit card user is a responsible one.

One of the best features on this credit card is that you will not be required to have a co-signer or no minimum income requirement. This is a great feature because as you know, it's very tough for a college student to get a job making $30,000+/year while going to school full-time. With this feature, most college students are accepted.

Having this credit card is nice but it's more than just swiping the card and waiting for your bill. If you have a fear of getting your card stolen, you will have no worries because Citi Bank offers a $0 liability on unauthorized charges.
