College can be very challenging at times.  Between homework, studying, going to class and working a part-time or full-time job we have very little time to our self.  It is very easy for people to give up in college simply because it is “too hard”.  Yes, it is hard but only if you make it that way.  There are several students that graduate college with much success.  What is stopping you from doing the same?  It takes a lot to succeed in college but it can be done by you.  There are many tips out there they may help you make college a success.

• It first takes a positive attitude.
• You have to be ready to give it all you’ve got and all the effort possible.
• You must take time for studying and doing homework completely.
• You will need to take good notes from lectures so you can study properly.
• You need to be organized.
• A set schedule for the week is needed.
• School comes before friends and partying.
• You need to think of how well off you will be in the future to keep yourself motivated.
• Remind yourself that you don’t want to work a minimum wage job the rest of your life – it’s that simple.
• Work on your homework a little bit each day and don’t wait until the last minute.
• Get enough sleep, you can do this by organizing your schedule
• Eat a well balanced diet and be sure to get a little bit of exercise each day.
• Find a study buddy so you can ask for help when you need it.
• Don’t be afraid to ask the professor questions- that’s what they’re there for.

If you really want to succeed in college or even online schools, you must make sure you keep these things listed above in mind all the time.  Although, mostly it takes a positive attitude.  If you have a negative attitude and come in the class saying “I hate math I’m not good at it.” that’s how you will leave the class.  Be open minded, challenge yourself and MAKE yourself understand it.  We like and have interest in the things we’re good at.  If you give it all you’ve got for each class you will be happy and like going to school!
