It is always a good idea to be prepared and know what to expect when you’re doing something new or for the first time.
- The college atmosphere can range for a huge lecture room with hundreds of people, or it can have less people like an ordinary high school class.
- The college campus is usually bigger than your typical high school.
- There are usually different buildings that are assigned to different things. For example, you will have a “math building”, “science building”, etc.
- You will also notice that there will be a large variety of students of different ages. You may find people in their 60′s or some in their teens, it’s all different.
- Going to college is different than going to high school. You don’t have to show up for class. Although, attendance does matter and it will hurt you if you don’t.
- Since you’re a grown adult, you don’t need to ask to go to the bathroom, and you can leave in the middle of class if you want or need to.
- All college are different, there can be colleges with 50,000 students, or some with just a few thousand or hundred.
- In college you will have a much more flexible schedule since you don’t have to go to class daily like high school. Instead students go about 2-3 times a week.
Going to college is much different than going to high school. The rules are different, the atmosphere is different and even the people are. Students tend to like college much better than high school just because of the flexibility and convenience.
