It seems as if every college kid, and their family has an iPhone these days, and while I don’t blame them, I find it to be a very awesome phone.  With over 40,000 apps out there, it’s hard to sort through them all, and find the one that works for you.  It’s as if you have to go into a library, and find the best book that will suit your needs.

I did some research on some iPhone related websites, and came up with a few iPhone apps that you should check out when it comes to your phone.

FaceBook App: Most college students use FaceBook in today’s era.   Why not be connected all the time?  Enjoy FaceBook as if you were in front of your own computer.  Send out friend requests, update your status, and more.

iDrink: Do you love to drink on the weekends, but don’t know how to make most of the drinks out there?  This great all in one drink recipe app will solve those problems for you.

Pandora: Pandora radio is amazing, and if you haven’t tried it out, I recommend that you do so by visiting their website.  This app allows you to use Pandora right on your iPhone.  Get an auxiliary jack for your phone, and play the tunes right from your car.

AIM: If you have AOL instant messenger on your computer, why not take it to your phone?  Connect with friends, and do everything you can do on your computer.

EverNote: If you don’t take notes in college, something is wrong with you!  With EverNote, capture and tag photos, text notes, audio notes, as well as record your own.  A must have for students.

WikiPanion: WikiPanion is wikipedia directly on your phone.  Using pages from Wikipedia itself, this application will lay out the page in a nice laid out form.

Jott: Jott is by far one of my favorites.  If you tend to voice record a lot of your notes, or lectures, Jott will transcribe your voice to notes.  You can then send them as e-mail and text attachments.

Remember that there are thousands of applications out there on the market, but I found these to be the best that you should try out.  You can always download them, and if you’re not happy, you can always delete them.
