As a college student, money can be short and when it comes to video games, there’s no cheaper route to keep yourself entertained. For a mere $50, you can have entertainment for the next 2 months. Why go out and spend $30 a night when you and your pals can get together for some video game action? I’ve put together a top 5 lst of the best xbox 360 games on the market for 2009.
The newest call of duty on the market has received top reviews across the board being one of the best multiplayer in the call of duty series. If you’re into the war type action games, this is a game you should check out. From multiplayer mode online to a solo mode, this game can keep you entertained for hours. With the best of breed graphics and special effects, you’ll be blown away from every aspect in this game.
The Halo series is by far one of the best selling series on the Xbox. Since Halo can only be found on the Xbox and PC, many people in the past purchased the console solely for this game. With an amazing and advanced multiplayer and a ton of maps, there’s no way you can get bored of this game anytime soon. This game is best played when you get a group of four of your friends to play others online.
Star Wars: The Forced Unleashed
Whether you’re a star wars fan or you just like these type of games, you’ll want to at least try this game out. Visit locations that are associated with the Star Wars movie itself. During the game, the decisions made by the players will determine the path of the game. When you beat it, you can go back and get a whole different story mode. This is by far a great single player game that can keep you entertained for hours.
Gears of War I was a huge hit but once this multiplayer combo hit the market, it won awards within 6 months of it’s release, which is a great accomplishment. Play up to 10 players online or even a co-op mode if you don’t feel like battling with others. From a unique third person angle, go through maps in awe with amazing graphics and gameplay. If you haven’t played the second one yet, I highly recommend you do so.
This Xbox only game has only been out for a few months but has been a huge hit among many. One of the main reasons this game is so popular is solely based on it’s great coperative mode online where you can play with up of 4 or your freinds. Battle your way through maps killing zombies while helping your teammates survive.
