1028208_man_thinkingA lot of us ever since we were little have had a dream career that we’ve always wanted to do.  Although, for some of us unfortunately, we change our minds daily, or we just have no idea what we want to do for the future.  If you’re stuck between deciding the right career, or just finding a career that will suite you well, there is hope to find the right one.

We want to make sure that our future is bright, and that we will enjoy working our job until we retire, so therefore it is very important that we choose the right path.  How can you make sure you’re making the right decisions?  Continue reading below, and ask yourself a few of these questions.

What makes me happy? –

First, ask yourself one very important question.  What makes me happy?  What do you do that makes you happy, what are your hobbies?  When are the happiest and what are you doing?

For example, if you love children and you get excited to see them, maybe consider being in pediatrics, or teaching, there are so many options.  Just find out what makes you happy.

Can I turn my hobbies into money? –

What are some of your hobbies?  Do you like to make jewelry, work on cars, cook meals, be on the computer? Everyone is different, and has different hobbies.  What are yours?  Then once you figure that out, ask yourself  “can i turn these into money?”

If you like to make jewelry, sell it, if you like to cook open a restaurant and become a chef, if you like the computer, make websites.  Hobbies can easily be turned into money if you can brainstorm a way.

What is my personality like? –

What is your personality like?  Are you friendly and like people?  Are you more on the quiet side and like to be left alone?  Are you outgoing?  What are you like?  Find a job that suites your personality.

How much do I want to make? –

What do you feel comfortable making salary wise?  What paycheck at the end of the week will you feel content with?  Do you want a lot of money, or are you happy with just making an average salary?

Is there a demand? –

Is there a demand for your future career?  You don’t want to go to college, graduate, and then find out that you won’t have a job.  Find something that is in demand, and something that you can find a job right away.

Finding the right career alone is a tough job.  It can’t be done overnight, and it may take a lot of questioning, and brainstorming.  So, take all the time you need, and when you’re ready sign up for the classes that will help you achieve your goal.
