The Pros and Cons of Early College Classes
posted by FindCollegeCards.comWhen we all graduated high school we were thrilled because we could now create our own schedule, and because that meant we didn’t have to get up early anymore. Although some of us don’t mind getting up early, some of us hate even thinking about getting up early. If you are thinking about taking an early college class because that’s all that’s available, there are both pros and cons to it. See which one out ways the other one more.
Taking early college classes:
PROS –
- You can get an early start to your day, and it seems much longer which is always a good thing.
- We usually feel much more energized when we wake up early instead of sleeping for way too long.
- We can get the worst part of the day done right from the start.
- We don’t have to sit around and wait for our class, instead we can wake up, go and it’s done. Then we have the rest of the day to do what we please.
- We will have more time to do things like work on homework, and other things we need to get done.
CONS –
- We have to go to bed earlier the night before.
- We have to get up earlier than we usually want to.
- It may be harder to concentrate if we’re too tired.
When talking about this, we realize there are a lot more pros than cons, but it all depends on which ones mean more and matter to us. If you can’t stand getting up early and going to bed early, you most likely should stick to later classes, but if you don’t mind getting up early, and just want to get your day going so you have more time to do stuff, stick with the earlier classes.
Everyone is different, and has different lifestyles. Although, if you’re debating on whether or not to take early classes, figure out which one means more by considering the ideas above.
