Are you currently attending college right now?  If so, there are a few key points that will allow you to get that 4.0 GPA that you’ve been wanting.  Although it is hard to maintain and earn, it is possible!  One thing that is highly underestimated in college is organization.  College students don’t realize how important it is to keep organized and how much it can help out your grades.  So, why is it so important to maintain?  Continue reading below to find out!

Classes – First of all you always want to organize your classes.  This means have one folder for each different class you have.  Don’t get one huge binder and throw everything in it.  You will find that your math papers are with your history papers and your science is either in your English or stuffed in your book.  Always take time to organize your papers and file them according to the dates. 

Make it easier – You will make things much easier on yourself if you’re organized.  You won’t have that feeling of "oh no I can’t find my paper!"  This happens way too often and even for COLLEGE students.  If you have your stuff together you will find that you will a lot less stressful.

Less time – Also, lets say you can’t find your paper that is due for the next class.  What are you going to do?  You’re either going to waste time looking for it or take a failing grade and not hand it in.  Let this happen a few other times and you’ll see how much time can be wasted and how fast your grades will drop!

Better grades – If you’re turning in your papers and you’re organized you’re going to get better grades, it’s that simple.  Since you’re organized you will be able to find what you need, study what was assigned and also you’ll be much more on top of things than the majority of the people in your class!  Organizati0n = better grades.

Better study habits – Lets say your folder is filed by dates.  It is nicely organized and the first day hand outs are in the very front and the ones you got today are in the back.  This will allow you to go from chapter to chaper and prepare you a lot better for tests.  You will know what to study thanks to the dates on your papers and you will have all the papers that were handed out.  If the teacher says study everything for Chapter 2 you will have all of Chapter 2 nicely set out and you’ll be all ready to study!
