Have dinner – One of the things that people look forward to most is the big Thanksgiving dinner.  Sad that you won’t have a big feast like you would at home?  If so, why not make one yourself?  Invite some friends over and have everyone make their own dish as well.  Once you’ve got a couple plates from everyone you will have a bigger feast than you’d think.

Dinner contest – Plan on making a Thanksgiving dinner with your friends?  If so, have a dinner contest.  To make Thanksgiving more fun and even more interesting give a reward to someone who has the best plate.  Have everyone throw in $5 and vote at the end to determine who the winner is of the best plate.  This will be motivation for everyone to make the best plate and is also great fun for everyone.

On campus – If you don’t know anyone who is staying on campus for Thanksgiving don’t worry!  Most colleges hold fun activities for college students to do and attend on the holiday.  So be sure to get out, have fun, and meet some new people.  This is a great opportunity to still have fun and make a night/day of the holiday.
