Ways to Reduce your Bills as a College Student:

Save on gas –

  • Carpool as much as you possibly can.  Not only will you be saving money but you’ll be saving the environment as well.
  • Try to schedule classes with your friends so you can alternate driving.
  • Eliminate all unnecessary driving.  If you have a gap between your classes simply stay at school and do homework instead of driving all the way home to come back again an hour later.

College –

  • Try going to a community college for the first two years.  You’re able to save about half and still get the same credits.
  • Get as many scholarships as possible.  This will pay for schooling for free up to a certain amount!

Clothing –

Leisure –

  • Limit your spending for leisure and try to find hobbies that are cost free.  Instead of buying a new DVD, video game or going to the mall go to the park with your friends or some place that is cost free.
