Hundreds of dollars aren’t necessary, just a little creativity is key when it comes to Valentines Day. Need some tips for creating a wonderful yet inexpensive Valentines Day? Then continue reading below!
Gifts – Okay, so if you’re looking to give your loved one a gift this year make it short and sweet. Consider some flowers (for a girl – even if it’s just one) or balloons (for a guy), a handmade card, chocolate and you’re all set. It’s that simple and all of those together are around $10 tops
Dinner – Since you’re most likely to celebrate in the afternoon or evening dinner will be an issue. Have them over your place and cook their favorite meal. This will make it much more intimate and fun for the two of you. Anyone can take their loved one out and blow money at a restaurant but when you really take the time to get their favorite meal together that means something, it’s also much cheaper!
Afterward – So, once dinner is done find something to do afterwards. This could be a fun evening spent watching their or your guys favorite movie. Put a movie on, get your favorite movie snacks or pull out a board game and have fun like children. If you want to go outdoors watch the sunset together if the weather is right! There is nothing more relaxing, breathtaking and wonderful than spending time with your loved one while watching the sun go down.
The little things – The little things are the best and really make a relationship meaningful. Take time to simply call when they wake up and wish them a happy Valentines Day, text them in the early morning, send flowers to their work or call them, write a message on their vehicle so when they go to go out that will be the first thing they see, whatever you come up with it will really make their day. The best way to keep a relationship alive is to simply surprise them and really let them know you care!
Valentines Day should be a fun time for the two of you, not stressful because you’re limited on money. There are several ways to have fun on Valentines Day without much money involved. Be creative, have fun and most importantly make the holiday memorable.
