How cool would it be if you could get paid to help people online that need their questions answered?  If you were good in college, when it came to a particular subject, you may want to put your knowledge to use on the side, where you can make thousands of dollars answering student’s questions online.

At StudentOfFortune (SOF), you can either answer questions yourself, or you can post one offering a fee for a tutorial.  If for example, you decide to post a question, SOF will send out a call to all of the tutors online.  If someone decides to answer for the fee, he/she will write you up a tutorial.  You’ll pick one that looks good, buy it, and you’re good to go.  The interface isn’t that hard at all when it comes to using it.

If you’re in the market to make money, it’s going to be the other way around.  You’ll want to find some questions that you can answer, write up a nice, detailed tutorial, and hopefully that student will pick your answer.  If they do, you get paid for helping others learn!

Here’s how it works if you’re looking to answer a question:

• You’ll first want to sign up at SOF with your own user name.
• Once you sign in, you’ll see on the left hand side that they have a “get paid” section.  Here, you can click on “answer questions.”
• When you’re on the “answer questions” page, you can then choose by category.  Everything ranging from Business to Political Science.  Browse the categories, and find a question that you can answer.
• Find a question, answer it, and hopefully they choose your answer!

Here’s how it works if you’re looking to post a question:

• Log into your account, and click on “ask a question.”
• From there, fill out all the necessary fields, along with how much you’re willing to pay.
• Preview your question, and wait for responses.  This will all depend on the question you asked.  If it’s easy, you’ll get a lot of responses.  If it’s tougher, and you get no responses, you may want to ask for more money.
• Once you get a tutorial that you like, you can purchase it for the fee that they ask for.

SOF is a great resource if you’re looking to get answers, or get paid online.  With it’s user rating system, you can feel assured that you can find the right person to answer your question.  Keep in mind though that you’re going to have to offer up some decent money if you want a harder question answered.  No one wants to do a hours worth of research for $0.25.

SOF is free to use, and browse around.  I really like this website, and thought I’d tell you readers about it.  They did not pay, nor did give any type of incentive to post this.  I will only post services that I truly would like to promote to college students.
