Learning a Foreign Language with the Nintendo DS
posted by FindCollegeCards.com
A lot of schools today, require their students to take a foreign language. Foreign languages are great because they open up students to other cultures, foreign countries and give students the opportunity to learn something new. Learning a foreign language is a great way to improve your memorization skills, learn even more about English (surprisingly), and everything about putting a sentence together. Although a foreign language is a great thing to learn, most students don’t enjoy them because they find them too challenging. Learning a foreign language can be very rewarding for your future and can be fun to learn. How can it be fun to learn? Read below and find out how the Nintendo DS is used to learn foreign languages.
When you get the Nintendo DS system you are giving yourself the opportunity to learn Spanish with “My Spanish Coach“, Japanese with “My Japanese Coach“, Chinese with “My Chinese Coach“, and French with “My French Coach“. These are all great games that will give you the opportunity to learn the language in a fun way and easier way. These games simply run by memorization, learning of new words, sentence structure, and real life speaking skills. Stop listening to boring lectures and learn the fun way with the Nintendo DS! There are many different games to help you learn the language, quizzes, and fun little lectures as well!
If you’re looking for German, Arabic, and any other major language there is hope for them in the future. The companies seem to be working hard to release the newest languages for the Nintendo DS.
Also, if you’re looking to just improve on your English skills, “My Word Coach” is an excellent game! It helps with learning new words, how to use them in a sentence and the meaning of them. It is all about memorization and broadening your vocabulary even more!

I am looking for My Polish Coach software for my nintendo ds. Is this an actual program that I can get a hold of? If not do you know of any Nintendo DS software programs for the Polish Foreign Language?

Right now, I don’t think they offer any type of Polish language software. Nintendo does come out with new languages every year, so I’d keep a look out!

I have studied and really brushed up on my Spanish using “My Spanish Coach” and now that Bosnians and Sudanese are immigrating to my state, I am interested in learning Arabic. When will “My Arabic Coach” come out?

I tried the My Japanese coach and it was fun and I found it easy to learn from, I flew through the first few lessons, and loved how it built you in to using more and of the language as it progressed. the voice comparison was very helpful for proper pronunciation. I will look for more of these products in the future. Please add more languages this tool is good for all ages, and makes me want to learn them all.
