How to Get a Job as a College Student
posted by FindCollegeCards.comWe all know that college isn’t cheap, and neither is the daily spending we need to do. When you put both of those together, it only makes it harder to save money. If you’re a college student that is looking for either a part-time or full-time job, there are many ways to snag a job. If you’re looking to get one in the near future, consider these ways listed below to get your job.
Newspaper – The newspaper is a great way to look for a job. This will give you all the jobs available around you locally. Look in your weekly newspaper, and see what they have listed. Do this a couple times a week, and you’re easily find something.
Internet – The Internet is a great source for any information you may be looking for. Websites like snagajob.com are also a great way to look for a job. Simply type in your address and zip code, and it will bring up everything available for you. Another great thing about websites like this is that you can apply right online!
Ask around – If your friends have jobs simply ask them if they know if they are hiring where they work. Or you can ask if they know of anyone who is hiring. We all know that sometimes it takes you “to know someone” to get into certain places.
Go in – If you have a few places in mind that you wouldn’t mind working at, go into those places, and just ask them up front if they are hiring. If they are, get an application, and bring it back as soon as possible to beat the crowd.
Campus – If you’re desperate for a job, and you can’t find one anywhere, try your college campus. They usually have enough employees, but it definitely doesn’t hurt to try it out! How nice would that be, go to school then straight to work without having to drive there.
Getting a job may seem a little challenging, but if you consider some of these tips listed above, you’ll be just fine. Don’t give up, keep sending in applications, and keep asking around!

Be a Plasma Donor and make up to $50/hour for plasma blood donation! I think this really helps because I try this already and until now I am a regular plasma blood donor for almost 3 years now. As we all know Blood bank shortages kill tons of people all the time and I think this very big help not only for yourself but also for those who need blood.
