How to Find a Cheap TI Graphing Calculator
posted by FindCollegeCards.comWhen it comes down to math and college, you’re going to find that you’re going to need the best when it comes down to graphing calculators. Well, when I first started college and I didn’t have one of these, I thought I could just run to the store and pick one up. I didn’t realize I would have to pay over $100 for this stupid thing.
Thankfully, with the Internet today, I’m going to show you on how you can get the best deal on a graphing calculator so that you don’t have to pay the full price. When it comes to college, we all are cheap and that’s okay!
Check out the great auction site, Ebay
We’ve all heard of Ebay and it’s a god send when it comes to finding anything. From a used car to yes, graphing calculators. I did a quick search for TI graphing calculators and I found some used ones for as little as $20. A lot of them already came preloaded with software for your math classes. Just make sure that you read the description to make sure it works as well as make sure you’re buying from a reputable seller.
Use price comparison sites
I’m a big fan of shopping online and when it comes down to shopping online, I always use price comparison sites like PriceGrabber.com. It allows me to input what I’m looking for and it will compare a bunch of stores to show you who has the cheapest price. For your convenience, I also created a top 10 page for the best graphing calculators on the market today. When it comes down to graphing calculators, you don’t have to necessarily buy a Texas Instrument brand.
Ask friends or relatives
One thing that many college students don’t do when it comes to getting items is that they don’t ask around. You may have found that some cousins or friends have taken a college math class in the past. If they have a calculator that they aren’t using, see if you can kindly borrow it. If its just sitting there collecting dust, I don’t see why they wouldn’t say yes.
Graphing calculators are expensive but if you just take a few of these poitners and implement them into your search, you may find a deal. There’s never a reason to pay full price as a college student.
