Once we arrive to our college dorm room for the first time, we see the ugly empty walls, and really just the boringness of the room.  A lot of college students get homesick their first year of being away.  A great way to overcome that is by decorating your dorm room.  This will make your room feel more at home, comfortable, and welcoming at the same time.  No one wants to walk into an ugly, and empty room.
