It is important that high school students know these few facts to make sure they make college easier on themselves and don’t make any mistakes.
Go ahead – If you’re currently in high school, think to yourself and ask if your grades are pretty good. What most high school students don’t know at the time is that if you have good grades in high school you’re more likely to go farther ahead in college. For example, lets say that you’ve just finished your last year in high school and you made it all the way to Statistics in math. You can now start at statistics in college or go even further! This is a huge advantage for college students. So, be sure that you’re doing your best in college and you get as far as you can.
Good grades saves time – Like the example above, if you’ve just graduated high school and you went as far as statistics in math, you’re already ahead. Most college students start out at a beginning algebra. From there it will take usually about 3 or 4 classes to get to statistics. So if you’ve already got statistics down, think of yourself as ahead of the game. Going far in high school will save you so many semesters in college and will save a ton of time.
Good grades saves money – If you’re getting good grades in high school and you’re further ahead than the average high school student be proud of yourself. The more classes that you’ve taken in high school and the better grades you got will save you a ton of money in college. Say you’ve taken Chemistry I and II in high school. These are the two less classes that you’ll have to take in college. Depending on how much a class is, that is a ton of money you could potentially save by not having to spend your money on stuff you already know.
As you can see there are many great perks of doing good in high school. Most high school students don’t realize this at the time but you can benefit so much and get so much further ahead if you consider these few tips!
