Getting Your College Class Ring
posted by FindCollegeCards.comAh, it’s the time again when it’s almost time to graduate, and with graduation comes a lot of things such as your class ring. I know many of you probably have a class ring from High School, but many of you also prefer to have a college ring as well. It’s a great sentimental piece that you can hold on to remind you of all the memories you have had during your college career.
When it comes time to get your college class ring, there are some things you have to keep in mind to ensure yourself that you’re getting the ring that you want.
Know when they are signing people up: When you’re attending the campus, you’ll most likely see banners, flyers, or whatever telling the campus that rings are now available to order. Since you’ll most likely want to order through your school, you’ll want to get there as soon as you can, since ordering only lasts a few days.
Always know your size: At most college campuses, the people that work with the ring companies are more than willing to help you out. Most of them will help you when it comes down to measuring your finger, but just to be safe, I would measure your finger at home to ensure that you get the right ring. Once you get the ring, you probably won’t be able to return it, since it’s engraved and customized to your liking.
Take your time: There are literally hundreds of designs when it comes to a ring. This is something you should look at, and not decide within five seconds. If you’re able to, I would recommend you grab a brochure or booklet that will allow you to find the college ring that you want.
Know what you can customize: Most colleges are different when it comes down to getting your ring customized. Some will allow you to add gemstones, while others just give you a specific design. Remember, ask questions to ensure that you get the best ring possible for your needs!
When it comes time to get that class ring, if you choose one, I would just follow some of these tips above. Take your time, make sure you sign up on time, and let’s hope you get that class ring you deserve.
