We’re all not organized like a lot of people in life and when it comes to college, there maybe things that you forget to do such as student loans.  Since you’re going to need money to attend school, it’s important that you have these students loans.  If you don’t, well you can just kiss college goodbye for a while.

A student loan process usually takes a while and if you’re looking for $10,000 in 30 seconds online, that’s not going to happen but there are cases where you can find a student loan within 48 hours.  All it’s going to take is some research and effort on your part.  I’ll show you some tips you can take in order to find them fast and easy.

Shop around – Start calling up some lending institutions or places that specialize in student loans.  Tell them situation and always explain to them why you need to get the student loans fast.  Sometimes, lenders may back away because they may feel you need the funds for something else rather than school.

Always watch the rates – The faster you generally get loan money, the more you’re going to pay when it comes to interest rates, etc.  Banks love to rip off those who desperately need money.  Always make sure that you check out the rates and what the consequences will be in the long haul when it comes back to paying off those college loans.

Think outside the box – Sometimes you won’t even need to go through an institution when you’re looking for your loan money.  Instead, try borrowing money through places like your family or friends.  Write up a legal contract on how you’ll pay them back and when.  As long as you make it legal and the lending party feels comfortable with you, this is a great way to get the money for your education.

Getting a last minute loan isn’t that hard.  As I mentioned above, you’re going to be charged a higher rate and there will possibly be hidden fees that you may not know about if you don’t read the fine print long enough.  Do your research and search.  Just because you need that money now doesn’t mean you can’t sit down for a few hours and find the right bank.
