Are you or someone you know hosting a college dorm room Halloween party?  If so, one of biggest parts of hosting a party is providing the food.  Instead of just catering the usual foods that are at a party be creative.  Being creative makes the time before the party and after the party much more enjoyable and fun.  Need some fun food ideas?  Check out the list below!

Mouth apples with caramel:  The fall season is known for their apples.  So if you can get some apples handy and some caramel dip and you’ll be on your way to making a really neat recipe idea.  First cut up an apple into slices just like you normally would about (5-6?).  Once you’ve sliced your apple you now have little sections of it.  Now what you’re going to want to do is take the apple slice and carve it.  You can carve the apple so it looks like it has teeth.  Although you don’t want to make them perfect teeth since this is Halloween.  The apple slices then look like little mouths!  It is a really fun and neat idea once you see how they turn out.  Have a tight budget?  This is perfect for you then!

Eyeball cupcakes – This is also a fun dessert.  Want to make something cheap and non time consuming?  Than make some eyeball cupcakes.  Simply get a tray that is shaped into circles instead of the regular cup cake pan.  Then bake the cupcakes and get some frosting.  Once they are baked and cooled you can decorate eyeballs on your cupcakes.

Pie - This is always fun to make, as women we all love to bake.  Everyone loves their original pumpkin pie.  This is cheap, easy to make and is something everyone loves!

Cake & Cookies – If you don’t have a lot of time and you don’t want to spend a lot of money you can simply just get some cookie cutters/baking pan from your nearest store and bake a cake or cookies.  Be sure to get a fun design and some frosting.  This doesn’t take much more effort than it normally would.  Be sure to be creative and have fun while doing this, it’ll make them even better.

Rice Krispie Treats – This is another inexpensive idea for college students.  Since you may have a tight budget this is a great idea for you.  Get the recipe for rice krispies and get some food coloring.  You can make your rice krispies black or you can make them orange.  Also you can melt some chocolate bars and make patterns on your rice krispie treats to make them even better.
