Did you know that when you go to college, you can get free stuff just for being a college student? Does it sound too good to be true? It does to me, but I wanted to tell you some things that you can get for free, just for being a college student!
Grab a discount card: A discount card may not be free, but you’re going to get a load of discounts, as well as free items. What you’re going to find out is that with some cards such as Student Advantage, you can save 15% at retailers, as well as get $10 off, etc. It’s a great way to save money, and here and there, you will find that you can get free items.
Check out online free sites: You don’t have to be necessarily a student to receive free stuff, but there are a lot of resources online that you can head to, when you’re looking for free stuff. In my opinion, the FatWallet free forum is one of my favorites, when searching for free goodies. You have to act fast on these, because they don’t last long.
Hit Craiglist: Again, this isn’t for students, but search your area, and see what people are giving away for free. Again, if it’s something good, you’re going to find that it’s going to go relatively fast. If you live in a busier district, you will find that there will be a lot more compared to your smaller towns.
Recycling website: There are clubs, and communities online that you can use that are willing to recycle their items. Most communities are free to join, but there are also some that are by invite only. You will find that a quick Google search will pop up what you’re looking for.
You’re going to find that it’s going to be a lot easier to find something outside of the Internet, rather than searching online. Remember, the free stuff goes fast, so you will want to act fast!
