Free Microsoft Software for College Students
posted by FindCollegeCards.comThis may be one of the shortest posts we’ve wrote on here, but I want to show you college students a way on how you can get free software through Microsoft. As long as you’re attending college today, you shouldn’t have a problem getting this software. Yes, it’s legit, and yes, it’s legal.
Microsoft has something called the MSDNAA. This is the Academic Alliance by Microsoft. It’s goal is to offer all students and faculty free software for those that major in computer science, engineering, IT, and other technological fields.
How do I get my free software?
Depending on what school you go to, you’ll want to search for your college name + MSDNAA. For example, if you went to Arizona State University, you would search for “Arizona State University MSDNAA.” This will yield some results that you can browse through.
Once you’re on the site, you’ll be able to look at software packages like Microsoft XP, Vista, OneNote, and so much more. Just follow the instructions on the screen, and you should have free software, instead of paying for it!
