We’ve all had an excellent professor, and one horrible professor that leaves us thinking how they even got the job in the first place.  When we get a bad professor, it really ruins the class, and it makes the day and the semester seem much longer than it really is.  It is usually hit or miss when it comes to professors.  Make sure this fall you are getting all the best professors.  If we have great professors, we are more eager to learn, come to class, and the semester seems to fly by much faster.  So, how can you make sure you get only good professors this semester?  Continue reading below to find out!

Ask around – First of all, if you know someone that took the class that you’re about to take, ask who they had as a professor.  Find out their name, and be sure to ask whether they liked them or not.  Also, ask what the pros and cons of the professor were.

Ratemyprofessor – There is a really great website called ratemyprofessor.com.  It sorts each college, and has a list of all the professors for each one.  This is probably the best way to find the perfect professors.  People will rate the professor, and leave comments about why they liked them or didn’t like them.  Almost every professor is on there, so be sure to look at this before you sign up!

Who people recommend – Also, ask around and see who people liked as a professor.  Write some of these names down, and find out who people recommend.  Doing this will give you a good idea who to look out for who to avoid!
