When we graduate high school and start college, we will realize how easy high school was!  College has a more fast paced atmosphere, and you learn the same amount of material in college as you did in high school, just in half the time.  To make matters even more challenging, we have those few subjects that we just really can’t grasp.  It takes us longer than others to understand it, and to do our homework in that subject.

Since most college students struggle right in the beginning, and when they have that difficult subject for a class, there are several tutors to help them out.  Are you a college student that is having a hard time in a certain class?  If so, don’t be afraid to admit it, instead feel better and really grasp the information due to the help of a tutor.  So, if you’re looking for a tutor to help you out, consider these places to find them!

- The advising office can set you up with a great tutor.
- Get help from other students in your class that are doing well.
- Go to your library or student center to see if there are tutors already there.
- Simply get more help from your professor after class.   They will be able to spare a few minutes each day if you need it.
- A sibling or friend may be able to help you.

Whatever way you choose to get help from somebody is fine, just make sure you get the help.  Making that step is the most important step.  A tutor in college is great because they spend that extra time with you that you need.  Also, they know what they’re doing so they will be patient with you until you really understand it, that’s what they’re there for.  So, if you’re currently struggling in any class, you know what to do, and where to find help when you need it!
