When we start college our first year, most of us are pretty lonely.  We went from high school, and seeing our friends everyday to having to meet all new people.  Going to college is pretty foreign to us, and can be out of our comfort zone.  One of the ways you can make college more enjoyable is by dating someone from the same college.  A lot of people find their life long partner in college.  If you’re looking to meet someone special, consider these ways of doing so.

Clubs – Try joining a club in college.  Whether you love the Spanish language and you want to join a club, or you’re a history nut, or maybe something that’s not even school related, check it out!  We find our best matches in things that we both enjoy doing.

Sports – If you love sports, continue!  This will get you out and about, doing something you love, and the opportunity to meet a lot of new people.

Social – Be social with people in college.  Being social is a great thing, allows you to get to know a lot of people, and may be something you need to get to know the ladies or the guys at your college campus.

Friends of friends - If you have some great friends in college, try hanging out with their friends.  If you’re friends with them, you will most likely get along with their friends.  Also, you can ask if they know of anything that would be good for you.

Classes – Try being social with the people in your classes.  The people that are going into the same field as you obviously have the same interests which is a great way to start.

There are many different ways to meet that special someone in college.  If you consider some of these ideas listed above, you’ll easily find someone to share your college experience with.  Enjoy your time, have fun, and get out and meet new people!
