If you’re planning on purchasing a textbook online, you may have heard about the site, eCampus.com.  If you have and you’ve never purchased from them before, you may want to know what they are all about.

To make things easier for you, I have created a simple review for you to read over what I found about them, as well as what I personally think of them.

What do most people think about eCampus?

By looking online, eCampus tend to have a fairly good reviews overall ranging from 3.5 to 5 stars.  This is good considering that most storefronts that are bad are going to have ratings under 3 stars.

The thing that stuck out the most about this site is that many students complained about the delivery of books.  Since getting your books on time is crucial for your classes, you don’t want to deal with someone that is going to be slow.  Now, keep in mind that this is a case by case basis and there were people that stated that they had no problems.

On a positive note, most students love the customer service they received, as well as the pricing.  Since many students are going to base their decision on pricing alone, you may find that eCampus is your best bet in that regard.

How is the selection of books?

Out of all the book review sites that we have done so far, they tend to have one of the best.  The reason I state this is because based on the reviews, I had found that a lot of students found “rare” books here that they couldn’t find anywhere else.  On top o fit, they were getting a great price as well.

How do the prices compare?

On average, the prices weren’t the best, but they weren’t expensive either.  I would say, depending on what book you bought, it would vary from being the best place to buy, to maybe being the second or third best.  They definitely won’t disappoint you when you’re looking to make a purchase.

How is the navigation of the site?

Right when you hit the site, you’re going to find that it is really easy to use.  Right off the bat, you will be able to input the title, author, as well as whatever else you’re looking for.  On top of textbooks, you can also search for eTextbooks, as well as DVDs, gear and more.

Overall, I like this site.  They have a great selection of books and the prices are fantastic.  If you’re looking for a hard to find book, you will definitely want to give these guys a shot.

In the end, I will give them a solid A- based on customer service, their selection, as prices.  Because of the delivery issues, this is why I marked them down from an A to an A-.
