You’re going to find that when you head to your dorm room for the first time, you’re not going to have a lot of space, and storage is going to be crucial.  Just a few weeks ago, I brought up some ideas of storing bigger items while attending school.  While most of you don’t have these options, there are little items that you can buy to organize your room.

Underbed Storage Chest - This chest makes storage wonderful, since it fits right under your bed, making it out of sight from everyone.  This particular chest has side mesh pockets, perfect for cell phone and ipod storage, as well as a zippered top, and handles for easy carrying.

Multipurpose Storage Cart - If you don’t want something that fits under your bed, you may want to consider this cart that fits just about anything.  This car sits 45 inches high, has 6 pockets, as well as 2 shelves, making it ideal for storage.  It also comes with 8 mesh pockets, and a removable laundry hamper.

Wired Storage Cube Set - If you’re looking for something reasonably priced, and easy to set up, you may want to look at this cube set.  This storage set comes with 4 cubes making it ideal to store everything from text books to your clothes.  It’s a great way to become organized in your dorm room.

Dorm Room Storage Rack - This rack is fairly small, but it can fit a lot of items that you have laying around.  This rack hangs right on your closet door, or your dorm room door.  This rack holds your dirty laundry, a duffel bag, your hats, and more.
