Everyone needs, to sleep, right? When you’re ready to move into your dorm room, or maybe you’re already there, you’re probably going to need to get some need bedsheets, or maybe you want to upgrade?
Dorm bedding is essential if you want to keep warm at night. Not only that, it’s going to make your bed look a whole lot better than what it probably is today, I can promise you that much.
Measure your bed - The first thing that you’re going to want to do is measure your bed at the school. If you don’t know the size, most colleges already have built in bed, and you can call them up to ask for the dimensions. Since all of them can vary in size, you’ll probably want to get a sheet size that comes fairly close to what will fit on your bed. You don’t want to get something too big, or too small.
Pick a style - You’re going to find that if you head to a local store to find your bedding, it’s going to be relatively expensive. Instead, I encourage you that you do your shopping online. You can get some great bedding sets that includes things such as your comforter, sheet set, mattress pad, towels, and so much more for less than $100!
Know it’s comfort - You don’t want to be too cheap, because you’re going to get what you pay for. If you’re going to purchase your sheets online, what you’re going to want to look for is the “thread count” number. The higher the number is, the better the quality if going to be, and the more you’re likely going to pay. Your luxury hotels generally have a 500+ thread count, if you want a good idea on what matches up to what.
Be sure to order your sheets before you move into your dorm, so that you have something to sleep on. Even if the college offers you something, I would steer clear of it, because it’s going to be like you’re sleeping on a thin cheap dollar store brand bed spread. Get out there, do some comparison shopping, and find your sheets!
