This is part 2 of 6 on the dorm room essentials

When you’re ready to head off to college, you really don’t think about your clothes.  You’re probably just going to pack up a few shirts, and pants, acting like you’re going on a very long, extended vacation. While most students treat it this way, they soon find out that they missed out on a lot of stuff.

Instead of calling up Mom, and Dad to bring you some items, there are some things that you can do, in order to have everything to come on hand.  Here’s what you should have, when it comes down to your clothing.

If you’re missing out on a few of these items, or maybe you’re on a budget, check out eBay for some great deals on just about anything.

  • Belt
  • Flip flops – Again, grab these when you’re ready to take a shower!
  • Pants
  • PJs / Nightwear
  • Raincoat
  • Robe
  • Shirts – Bring all types such as your T-shirts, Sweatshirts, and more.
  • Shoes – If you have only 1 pair, I would recommend bringing at least 2-3.
  • Shorts – Make sure that you have lots of them, if you live in a warmer climate such as Florida, or Arizona.
  • Snow stuff – Bring things such as your boots, winter jacket, gloves, and more.  You won’t think about this stuff when it’s warm out!
  • Socks – Bring plenty of these!
  • Sporting Goods – If you’re into sports, or going to play them, bring your shorts, and shirts.   These are great for the gym as well.
  • Suit – Not sure if you’re going to go anywhere fancy, but make sure you bring something nice, just in case.
  • Underwear

As you can see, you probably scanned over the list, and already forgot something!  Make sure that you bring everything on this list, so that you don’t have to go out, and purchase something, or call up Mom and Dad to bring it to you.
