Going to college can be very expensive.  College students often have a tight budget and rely on fast food to satisfy their meals.  Choosing fast food is cheap yes, but it is dangerous for your health.  There are many simple solutions for college students, when it comes to dinners.  Need some ideas on making healthy and cheap dinners?  Check out some ideas below:

Soup – Soup is always a great dinner.  You can get soup for a very cheap price at the grocery store, especially when it’s on sale.  Just add some vegetables and/or bread and you have a great meal.

Frozen Entrees – There are many great frozen entrees.  You want to look for Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice, and Smart Ones – healthy ones like those.  These are great for satisfying your vitamin intakes and are very tasty for such a great price.

Salads – Salads are one of the cheapest dinners you’ll be able to find.  They are rich in vitamins and are great for the price!  Salads don’t have to be boring, add you’re favorites to it.  There are many different kinds of salads, do your research and find what you’ll like best. 

Cereal – Cereal for dinner? That’s breakfast time!  There are many cereal lovers so who says you can only have it for breakfast?  Cereal is a great filler upper.  It is very cheap and can last you a while before you need to stop at the store again.  So, get the most out of your money.  Cereal is healthy and a great small dinner before bed.

Meats – Meat sounds like it would be expensive but really it’s not.  Get a pack of a couple steaks, hamburgers or hot dogs/sausages.  These can be a great deal.  Choose a healthy kind and you’re on your way to a great deal.  All you really need is the buns and the meat.  Throw in a salad and you’ll be set for a while!  College students are often stressed and worn out.  Did you know that if you have protein you are able to function better and have more energy?
