As a college student, we all know that money is tight and when it comes to clothing, it’s hard to buy the name brand stuff for a discount.  Well, there are ways out there that can help you save up to 75% so that you don’t have to pay full price at the store.  No matter what brand you like, I promise you that you can find it somewhere else for a discount.  I’m going to give you some tips on how you can find cheap clothing for yourself.

Try Ebay for the deals

Ebayis filled with deals and no matter what brand you want, you can find it.  From Abercrombie to American Eagle, Ebay makes it extremely easy to search for what you’re looking for.  Browse the listings and see what’s available and compare it to what you would pay in the stores, you’d be surprised at how much you can save.

Visit discount department stores

You normally won’t see too many students wandering around a discount department store but stores like Marshalls and TJ Maxx are great for discounts on clothes from many retailers.  Stop in one of these stores the next time you’re near one and you’ll be surprised at the brands they carry.  From Polo to American Eagle clothes.  This stores generally will take the overstock from the retailer and sell it at a discount.

Try discount online stores

Yes, Amazon even carries cheap clothing.  What doesn’t this online giant carry?  Check Google or other discount retailers online to see if they are carrying what you’re looking for.  You’ll find that shopping online can save you more money than shopping in person.

Sign up for the e-mail club

It never hurts to shop in the store but before you do, make sure you sign up for that retailer’s e-mail club.  You’ll get discounts sent to your e-mail and you can sometimes get a coupon just for signing up.
