When we enter the college world, we often have new interests, and are looking to explore different things.  The college life can be a little hectic, therefore we looking for certain things to make things easier.  If you’re a college student that loves to spend time on the Internet, there are several great websites for you.  I’m sure you’re already familiar with a few different ones, but if not you should consider these ones listed below!

Facebook -Facebook has millions of people that are signed up.  This is the best way to keep in touch with your friends, family, and others you went/go to school with.

Myspace – Just like Facebook, myspace allows you to keep in touch with the ones you care about.  You can talk online through instant messaging, share pictures, etc.

YouTube – If you love to check out new videos that people post, definitely consider YouTube.   Not only can you look at what other people post, but you can post your own videos to share.

Digg - Digg is a great place to catch up on information, news, and what other people are talking about.  It is one of the most popular social bookmarking websites out there.

Twitter – With one question “what are you doing?” you can keep in touch with others.  This is a great  place to meet people, and keep in touch with ones you already know.

Stu.dicio.us – This is a great place to keep track of your grades, to make a to do list, to store files, take notes, etc.  Be sure to check this out for sure if you’re a college student!

Wikipedia – Wikipedia will be your best online encyclopedia.  Anything you’re looking for will be on this website!

BackpackIt – Almost like Stu.dicio.us this website will help you out, and organize your college life.  You have your own calendar, to do list, etc.
