Apple laptops for college studentsEvery year, Apple’s share in the laptop marketplace grows larger, and larger.  It’s no wonder why Microsoft should be shaking in their boots.   Apple offers a great product, and if you’re a college student looking for a new laptop, you may want to consider an Apple laptop, if you have the cash to do so.

With over a hundred different models available, it’s hard to choose the right one for your own personal needs.  I checked out a few shopping review based websites, and came up with what I thought are the top three laptops on the market today.

Apple MacBook MB466LL/A 13.3 Inch Laptop

This lightweight, and reasonably priced laptop comes with a lot of great configurations, that makes it well worth the money.   The MacBook MB466LL/A comes equipped with a 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 2 GB RAM, a 160 GB Hard Drive, along with the Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Operating system.  If that’s not enough, you’ll get a very nice, and slick 13.3 inc h LED back lit glass display.

Apple MacBook MB467LL/A 13.3 Inch Laptop

This MacBook is very similar to the one I just mentioned above, but received just as good of reviews as well.  This laptop in particular comes with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 250 GB hard drive as well as a 13.3-inch LED back lit glass display.  This laptop is going to run anywhere from $1,000 – $1,300.

MacBook Pro MB990LL/A 13.3 Inch Laptop

This Apple pro version laptop features a 2.26 GHz core 2 duo processor, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, a 160 GB hard drive, as well as the Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard operating system.  The pro version is usually going to cost you a little more than the non-pro version, but this one in particular can be picked up for less than $1,200.
