A pen is probably one of the most important items that you can have in your backpack.  Without a pen, or pencil, you’re most likely not going to be able to do a lot of things such as taking notes, doing homework, and more.  Instead, of going out and consistently buying $2 pens, why not invest into a good one?  As long as you watch it closely, and don’t let anyone borrow it, these pens should last you a while.

uni-ball Signo Gel 207: Believe it or not, but some of the best pens are the ones that come in groups.  This pack comes with pigmented ink that writes smoothly and helps prevent check washing.  With it’s textured grip, and semi-translucent barrel, you’ll get a great pen for a low price.

uni-ball 2007 retractable: Like the first set that I mentioned, this one in particular is very similar.  It features a uni super ink, specially formulated for preventing check washing, as well as a fade, and water resistant ink that is refillable.

Lamy Safari Charcoal Pen: This pen has one of the highest ratings on the Internet, and I can see why.  This charcoal based pen is a fountain point pen that lasts for a long time, that writes very, very well.

Cross Tech3 Satin: If you want a pen that’s going to last a long time, and will be worth the money, this is it.  This Cross Tech3 pen is a multi functioned pen with black and red ink, as well as a .05mm pencil.  It has a continuous twist motion, making it easy for your handle, and write with.
