It’s almost that time again when we all start to think about Christmas presents.  There is nothing worse than for a holiday to come and have little money.  Holidays are a wonderful time of year but they can be very stressful at times.  We all have so many people to buy for on our lists that it’s almost overwhelming.  When in college we have a lot of bills as it is.  From tuition to books to all our other expenses it can be very tricky to cough up some cash.  Need some ideas for affordable Christmas presents?  Check out some ideas below:

Picture frames – A mother, father, any family member or friend always adores photos.  A great present a college student can give to their parents is a picture frame.  Get some pictures from when you were little to now and put them in a frame.  If you have siblings also add them in their too.  Or if this present is for a friend get one of your favorites shots and put it together. Stockings – If you can’t think of an idea for a main gift to give this year make them a stocking.  With a stocking you can stay in a budget and get them a lot of little items.  Get them their favorite items from makeup to automotive items to candy.  Whether it’s for a girl or guy this gift is always fun.  Stay in budget and to make the gift look even better throw in a gift card for a small amount of like $10 to their favorite store or something.  They will appreciate this gift so much because you’re focusing on everything that interest them.

Food arrangements – If you’re going to a Christmas party and you didn’t buy a gift make a food arrangement.  Whether this is for your parents, friends or other relatives it is a great idea.  Make their favorite dinner and dessert.  This will show them that you care and went out of your way to make their favorite food items.  This is very affordable and is something everyone loves!

Clothing – This is also another great present.  No one can have enough clothes.  Around the holidays there are many stores that have great sales.  If you want to buy something affordable and give a great gift clothes is the way to go.  You could buy them on clearance and the person would never even know.  Don’t just go to one place, go to many.  You will find the best deals by shopping around.
