We all love to spend time with our significant other, and a way we can do that is by going on a date.  Although, going on dates seems to be holding back a little bit because of the cost.  In college, we don’t have a lot of money, so we’re looking for our dollar to stretch as much as possible.  But, who said dating had to be expensive?  It definitely can be, but it doesn’t have to be.  Consider a few of these affordable, romantic dates!

Park - First of all, going to the park is a great way to spend any day.  If the weather is nice, go to the beach, play your favorite sport, go for a bike ride, or simply have a picnic.  Just enjoy the date, your time together, and have fun for a cheap price!

Double date - It is always fun to double date with a couple we like.  A great place to go is to a coffee shop on a cloudy day to get a coffee or drink.  Doing this is cheap, is a fun way to spend time together, and is a nice way to catch up on things.

Sunset - Of course, there is the time to watch the sunset together.  This really is a great way to spend time together.  Get a blanket, lay down, talk, enjoy each others company, and watch something that is gorgeous!

Most common – Also, there is the most common date, just done a little differently.  A dinner and movie, is now lunch, and Red Box.  Lunch specials are usually much cheaper than eating out for dinner, and going to the movies these days costs around $20+.  So, if you’re looking for a nice bite to eat, catch a lunch special and then get a movie from Red Box.  Red Box allows you to rent a movie for just a $1 a day!

Relax – It is always fun to just relax together.  Watch your favorite shows, lounge around on the couch a bit, and then give each other a massage!  This doesn’t cost anything, yet is still fun, and creates great memories!
