I know, this is a college blog and we talk about college related issues a lot, but what you’re soon going to find out is that a lot of people won’t finish college, leaving them without a degree.  Even if you finish 3 years of college, you’re going to need that piece of paper to prove that you finished.

With that being said, I wanted to point out 14 career paths that you may want to choose, if you’re looking to get a high paying job.  Keep in mind that some may require an education, but it won’t be along the lines of getting a 4 year degree.

• Funeral Director ($70,000/yr): You’ll be in charge of managing a funeral home, making sure that it’s ran at an efficient level.
• Operations Manager ($75,000/yr): This job can be in just about any field.  You will simply manage an area to ensure that it’s efficient.
• Computer Tech Support Specialist ($65,000/yr): Work your way up the chain, support corporations with computer issues.
• Real Estate Broker ($55,000/yr): Sure, this requires a real estate license, but it doesn’t take that long to get.  Simply buy / sell homes, while assisting others.
• Elevator Installer ($58,000/yr): In charge of installing elevators, as well as repairing them.  This will only require some training courses.
• Sales Representative ($60,000/yr): Get into just about any field and sell on a commission basis.  From insurance, to car sales.
• Dental Hygienist ($60,000/yr): Help assist the dentist, as well as clean patients teeth, etc.
• Fashion Designer ($50,000/yr): If you’re into design, this would be a great field to get into, where you can design clothing, and more.
• Detective / Criminal Investigator ($55,000/yr): A lot of private industries are always looking for detectives / criminal investigators where you can investigate potential cheaters and more.
• Commercial Pilot ($55,000/yr): Again, you’re going to need a pilot’s license, but it’s going to take you no where near that 4 year mark.
